Red Sea Max Nano Peninsula
EQUIPMENT -- stock except replace ATO with Tunze 3155 and filter sock 3d printed cage (weir?) with floss and Seachem Matrix. Nero 3 for flow. Inkbird controller with dual heaters.
ROCK / SAND -- Marco aquascape, CaribSea Arag Alive! Fiji Pink. Will add 5 lbs of ocean live rock from Tampa Bay Saltwater *after* cycle is complete. https://tbsaltwater.com/shop/box-of-rox-5-pounds-copy/
CYCLE -- Fritz Turbo 900 / Fishless Fuel. No carbon (yet). Skimmer off for entire cycle?
BIODIVERSIFICATION -- highly modified Lasse Method: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/15-steps-to-starting-a-saltwater-aquarium-the-lasse-method.556865/. Add the live rock. Order CUC from ReefCleaners (low risk of disease?). Ramp up lights when CUC ordered so lights on full about time CUC arrives.
Separately / simultaneously will QT pair of clowns and hope to introduce in a month and a half. After clowns in, QT yellow watchman goby and royal gramma basslet (45 day QT time).
Hope to start frag / invert QT tank as well. Will see what my risk tolerance is for whether to QT a pistol shrimp or just introduce with the YWG. no idea yet on corals, but that's several months down the road.
