I just bought some sps from a local reefer. When I got home I opened the bad and it smell bad. So smelled the coral and the coral smelled bad. Do you think it is dead or dying?

I also dipped it when I got home.

What is the name of this coral and should I give it high light high flow?

I don't know what SPS that is, but if you have LED's start it low and move it up into the light, and reasonable current to keep it oxygenated and tentacles out and feeding is what I would look for.

That's a beautiful branch, to nice to call it "Stinky." Not sure what caused it to smell but hopefully it lives and thrives in your tank.

Send the seller some charcoal as a thoughtful "thank you" gift?

salt water at times does have a bad smell to it. likely the seller has to do a water change or add carbon to his tank to lower smells lol

they feed off the water column, light, and nitrate/ammonia. so any powdered coral food mixed with rodi or tank water should suffice either broadcast fed or target fed. same effect occurs with frozen food added and mixed into the tank

I have a lot of LPS but I am gonna have to work on some research on sps.
Can I feed reef roids?

You don‘t need to feed it and if you do, you need to have a good handle on filtration and water parameters.

reef roids is fine but take note of your water parameters so they don’t rise too much too quickly

What is the best food for them so it doesn’t raise phosphate?
fish poop. literally. heavy feeding with heavy filtration. or if you’re looking to dose, use nitrate or ammonia (look at randy’s DIY recipe )
