Water stats still good and all corals seem very happy I'm enjoying this so much more then freshwater
I'm not sure of the placement of the coral 5th picture down it seems a bit hunched up on the sand bed all be it's open would I be better of raising it of the sand bed any advice welcome
The tank is around a month old and was setup using all the rock ect from a tank that was closing down and had been running for several years and we'll established. It was a case of removing it all from that tank then a 10 minute trip up the road into mine all rocks where kept fully submerged in tank water. My system was then filed partly with cycled tank water and partly new so basically the same as doing a water change.
All parameters have remained stable no spike of Nitrates apart from the average rise.
I tested the water last night and the results where.
Apart from the SG dropped a bit as when setting up my auto top up it pumped in to much plain RO water that was soon sorted with a 50L water change and upped the salt in that mix brought it back to where it was. Also PH dropped a bit I now run buffer in the top up water which now keeps the PH stable.
It's been a bit of a learning curve going from tropical to marine but I'm getting my head round it and I addressed the two issues above strait away and have been stable since so things are looking good so far
