Octopus DDNW-250 Skimmer Mods

Anyone have any idea on what mods are the best mods to do to this skimmer? Any links to pictures of what is done and so forth? I am sure mesh-modding the two pumps will be one of them. I have never done any mods to my skimmer so I will need some help and tips along the way if possible. Thanks in advance!

Anyone have idea on which pump could be used to upgrade this skimmer? They come with 2 OTP-3000 and also can be used 2 Aquatrance 3000s with some plumbing kit. Any other pump? I Just bought a New one but without pumps... Thanks
