Do you have a ground probe? If not I would install a ground probe and gfci to ensure your safety in case of the inevitable. Will save your equipment as well.

On my way back from the store. Picked up 4 ati bulbs to replace the factory bulbs, 4 more to go until. 8 bulb fixtures are expensive haha. Also grabbed a large rose bubble tip. It's the brightest I've ever seen. Even in the sunlight it glows red. Can't wait to get it acclimated.

He's insisting that they're sunburst but there doesn't seem to be enough yellow in it for me to believe it's a sunburst

Just found boxes in the basement still packed from the move full with my old equipment, test kits, Frag junky coral light, and nets, tubing, and other misc parts. Feels like Christmas but free lol

I'm thinking on going with an almost all rbta/gbta tank. Planning on grabbing 2 more soon, and then around Christmas 5-6 from matts corals.

Also sps is looking great. Coloring up and nice extension, and growing great.

Then and now. About 27 days in the tank.

Update. So I went to get a diamond goby for my tank, didn't realize they were jumpers so he's at the store while I work on a top. The only problem is my overflow and return lines stick out above the trim of the tank, so a conventional screen won't work. So with the tank I want to save for an auto top off. My sump level has been fluctuating but not by much, I try to say constant with the water line, my skimmer section always maintains 8" of water, so I just want it to keep a stable salinity. I purchased a rodi unit and some more ATI bulbs but when the package got here they were immediately gift wrapped because they didn't know what was inside them so I now have to wait until Christmas for them lol. I re aqua-scraped the tank, and added some things. My mini maxi anemone is missing at the moment because he set his foot on a turbo snail lol. Whenever I see him the snail hides and he's too deep to reach. My rbta is growing like crazy, which is good because it's a proven splitter, and my clowns are still refusing to host it. The rbta has deeper color now and seems to have found a spot he likes (fingers crossed) now I'm just hoping the clowns will host. I picked up a small purple tip elegance today, seems to be liking the tank so far. I broke a sps frag off the plug, and when moving rocks found it. Was completely white but has since gained some color back and is showing decent polyp extension.
