We just got these in, and I must say, they are a game changer. A Chinese fixture with high quality electrical wiring and components, 3 dimming channels, and with moonlights to top it all off. Most of the internal wiring is protected by an additional fiberglass sheathing, and the contact by heavy duty electrical shrink wrap. The circuit board is aluminum (like the rest of our fixtures), topped with a piece of mirrored acrylic to reflect more light into the aquarium. If that's not impressive, the dimming channels most certainly will be. One channel powers 30 3 watt Bridgelux 455nm royal blues, one powers 11 7500k cool whites, and the last one powers 14 colored LEDs, 2 660nm reds, 2 630nm reds, 2 500nm cyans, 2 520nm greens, 3 410nm violets, and 3 420nm violets. There are also 2 1 watt 480nm moonlights, which are not dimmable. The fixtures consume about 120watts with all channels at max power. The introductory price for these units is $249, they are now available for pre-order, and will be on display at the CMAC conference in CT at the end of the month, and at the Sin City Reef Convention in Las Vegas this December.
