Pineapple Sponges? I think? Should i be worried?

Hi Everyone,

are these pineapple sponges? And should i be concerned? I have a 38 gallon saltwater. Everything and everyone else is happy and healthy on the tank. Any help is appreciated!!

They are no problem.

They are actually beneficial filter feeders. They will come and go based on nutrient levels....normally only growing in dark areas (like sumps).

Pineapple sponges are filter feeders and are harmless in general. Keep after them and don't let them take over the tank.
