My sailfin tang has got 2 white spots on it that are relatively large. I have had a very clean run since setting my tank up 2 1/2 years ago and haven’t seen many diseases/ infections all help is appreciated! Researching I’m presuming it’s either white spot or lympho could anyone help ID this for me.

Looks like post injury or mucus come which may be associated with skin irritation
Keep an eye on it and see if any increase in spots this time tomorrow
Assur good water quality and diet

Welcome to Reef2Reef!

Those spots are too large to be ich, and Lymphocystis really only shows up in the first couple of months after getting a new fish. I agree that these look like some sort of injury.

What other fish in in the tank with it?

Jay
