So this is a first for me, my frogspawn coral bailed out the other week, my nitrates got abit high while I was away with work was the only issue I could see. Everything else in the tank was fine

But, it bailed out a few weeks ago and I have just spotted the polyp in my sand bed, seemingly still alive and brightly coloured, is this normal? Is there anything I should do with it or just leave it be. I have taken the skeleton out now as I thought it was dead so it can’t be another polyp. Photo below of the polyp

if you can scoop it into a mushroom container or somewhere with low flow, thats what I would do. They can sometimes regrow the skeleton. I had torch bail and it grew a small skeleton, but it got blow under the rocks

Set it and forget it: Do you change your aquascape as your corals grow?
