I am a beginner too. Your tank is looking great. How old? What fish you got in there and how many gallons
Thank you ! It‘s a 75 gallons without a sump, 22 months old.

Fish are :
Banggai cardinal
Pajama cardinal
Blue eye kole tang
Yellow watchman goby
Firefish
Pair or oscellaris clowns

I will add one or two more and that’s it. Maybe a wrasse, a blenny or an angel.

All peaceful fish, I want a relaxing tank. :)

October 2013, just after we moved into this house and I transferred over the rock, a few corals and fish from the 180 in the previous house.

A few nights ago from the recliner, so August 2023.

...and a "live" shot from a day or so ago - the view from the recliner at sunset.

This is my 300ish? gallon tank I just set up 2 weeks ago. I upgraded from a 180g and transferred my rock and livestock over. The water is still cloudy in this picture. Tank dimensions are 10x2x2 and its going to be a mixed reef. My sump and equipment are in the basement below.

I build all the cabinets and shelving and I still need to add a hinged door to cover the lights.
