I regularly dip with KCl, can I just make one large batch with RO and let it sit? Or is there the possibility of it getting “yucky” by sitting?

Not with RO.
Use tank water and add the KCl for dip
I defaulted to RO to make a concentrated solution to add into the water in dipping in. My concern is bacteria from the tank basically making the mixture contaminated and causing all sorts of fun.
Perhaps freshly mixed saltwater?

You should be good--Brightwell's Potassion supplement is water, Potassium Sulfate, and Potassium Chloride.

Potassium chloride is stable in fresh water or salt water.

With or without added KCl, I would not put used tank water or a artificial seawater from a salt mix that contained organics in a sealed container. It may become anaerobic.
