Just switched out the stock reflectors on my gen 1 Radion for wide angle TIR lenses. I have it over a 75 gallon tank 48" X 18" X 20" deep, with only lower-light corals. Zoas, Palys, mushroooms, hammer.
Here's the question - do you think I should lower the intensity from what it has been at since the TIR lenses are brighter? Or raise the intensity since the wide angle lenses lower the PAR and spread the light out more? Or figure these things cancel each other out, and leave it where it is?
I did lower the light from 12" to 11" off the water because it was a little bright on the eyes.
Thank you for any suggestions!
Susan
