I switched from T5 Aquatic Life to a Maxspect Led over six months ago. In that time I have lost all of my purple corraline algae. I have even added helix and no algae has grown. When I went into my sump today I found that I have rock in there with thick purple corraline on it. I was running no light in the sump. With the T5 on the tank before I had a lot of purple corraline. I just moved the Maxspect Ethereals to the sump sides. I'd like to know what settings you are using for your Maxspect Jumps or Maxspect Ethereals that you have had luck with growing corraline.

I doubt it has anything to do with the light. Your settings would have to be very very low to not grow coralline. Dou you have an urchin? Do you dose anything?
