I recently one the Tunze Stream 3 Give away. I still have not received it. I thought it was going to be released in September. When is it going to finally be released? The giveaway was early summer.

I had a problem trying to figure out where to actually put the rock and decided it just didn't fit in my tank, but the pump was a much needed upgrade to a jebo pump I was using. I'll see if anyone local has a need for the rock. Here are some pictures

Got the Stream 3 I won back in July yesterday. Out of the box it's really nice. Seems very well constructed, great packaging. It is fairly heavy, compared to other power heads I've owned. It is a little large for my application. I have a 120 peninsula reef 48x24x24. On the overflow side I have a sea Swirl. On the opposite side (one of the viewing panels). Is where I wanted to mount the Stream3. Unfortunately in this application it is going to block a lot of the view. The Stream3 comes with two attachments that go into the intake screen. The one I would need to use for my application the diffuser adds about 1 1/2" to the length. Also my rock work is such that I think I would have to put this pump so far below the surface that it would be right I front of one of my main islands. I think I may have to sell it. And go with two traditional Tunze or a Gyre. I will take a little more time thinking it over before pulling the trigger. I just took it out of the box and assembled it. It has not been plugged in or been wet.

I won a tunze reef pack. And the skimmer was absolutely flawless. It was rated for 30 gallon. I used it on a 60 cube and it worked perfect! Also used the tune wave maker. Both excellent!
