Hello everyone!
I’m building my first ever reef aquarium and I wanted to ask for some advices when it comes to equipment picks. I dont have a plan yet what will I be keeping however I want to be on a safe side and don’t have to upgrade too much in the future. As far as my set goes so far I have:

1. Reefer 425XL (v3, got good deal on it but no ATO+ for now)
2. 2x Radion X15 pro
3. 2x Nero 5
4. Sicce Syncra 4.0 return pump

I haven’t decided on protein skimmer yet -
I’m leaning towards Simplicty 240DC or one of Bubble Magus?
I’m thinking about going with 2 heaters but I’m not sure about brand and size, I want them to fit in the sump.
What filtration material do I need for my sump? Besides water related stuff (salt, starter bacteria, testing etc) is there anything else I need to start the aquarium?
Thank you!

UV, controller, etc. You'll need some Red Sea felt filter socks or mesh canisters that you can place filter floss in. The BRS titanium heaters + Inkbird are fairly decent and won't break your budget.

Hey I just started a build thread of the same size tank it’s not my first tank but I started with 2 mp40s theoretically more then enough flow but I’m adding to more power heads because I think my coral does better the more random the flow as aposed to how strong would love to hear other opinions
