The PB4's have built in back EMF filters on their outputs. You may get by with just one PB4. That is one option. The illuminated power strip liberators work in most cases. Thes are small 1ft extension cords with a lighted end. The only two for sure are the Aqualifter and the 1200. The others may be OK.

Ok what exactly does the power strip liberators do that stops the problem with the pump? And does it have to be thr illuminated ones?

The light is a non inductive load and is useually enough of a load to suppress the back EMF pulse below a voltage that causes issue. These low power pumps have a back EMF puls that can be several hundred volts. It is very low power and any kind of load will useually suppress the pulse.

Sometime it will depend on the pump and how high the back EMF pulse is. The only issue you will run into on those outputs is it may make you lights flash in the are plugged into CH2 or CH3 of for that case any thing plugged into CH2 and CH3 might momentarily turn on. The other would be that the controller may reset. The only way to find out is to try.

Yeah ill go ahead and order the liberators. I can say I never had any issues running a aqualifter on my rkl a while back. But I guess id rather be safe than sorry. Ill use them on my skimmer pump and my aqualifter

OK, select menu then system then info. The Errors are you buss errors since the system was last powered on I have 1 buss error in 29 days. That is very good. If you start getting several hundred or more in a day something is wrong. It could be something as simple as reseating a buss cable I'm a module.
