Just about any other coral that a Ricordia touches it will kill. In my tank, only a Rhodactis will cause Rics to flinch.

However, they are subject to long distance attack (Scolly mucus 'death net'!)

...which can send them to the infirmary for a bad case of pre-digestion (the blue/purple Florida up top was almost completely digested):

I dedicated a rock to be my ric garden, started with three rics 2 years ago and I have no idea how many now. I recently added two blue/greens just because some was getting rid of them. They grow pretty fast for me, I have to trim them back now and then but the little buggers are growing around and behind rocks now. So far, they will kill any other coral they come in contact with. They are keeping my NoTG digi in check (which is good for me) so it spreads no further. IMHO, I would put them on a seperate rock, that way you can keep them where you want.

Would love to have this problem! LOL

Very nice.

Not sure about Rics, but Yumas certainly pack a sting!

Sorry for the poor pics...the panel on the left shows the Yuma "taco'ing" an Acan. The bottom right is ther locations before battle. Top panel is "true color" of the Yuma that took out the Acan.
