RTN question

I have 3 corals that have been slowly rtn'ing over the last couple of weeks. All on the bottom of the corals. Any way could low calcium and high alk cause this? I just tested my tank and my calcium was only at 300 but my alk was at 14. Thanks in advance.

yes kh too high and ca too low is not good, when you dose your ca back up it will drive down the kh a bit, and check your po4

just tested po4. range 0-0.05 with a seachem test. Thanks

I'm having the same problem. My last test alk was 14, Calcium 400 and mag was 1300. It is only my torts and a couple others.

My salinity is at 1.027. could this be part of the cause? Thanks. Ohh yeah as of this morning my calcium was at 375 and my alk was down to 11. I dosed some more calcium.
