Wrong connection or bad soldering. Wrong soldering, maybe
Ok I Will check with my friend that he did the solder.

Anyway, the wires are two right? Is It possibile tò know by the color or something else which Is one and other?
Which PIN tò solder?

Best regards

Well, after only about a week my probe started reading incorrectly.
Tried recalibration but probe floats in the - direction. Went from 35 to 33.6.
I’m adjusting it by the compensation setting on the apex probe setup screen but just keeps floating.
I sent a chat message to the seller but will have to see if I can get a replacement or do a return. It’s AliExpress, not holding my breath.
The probe I purchased is from alvin industries.

Hello

Caming back

I solder wires as Page 4 of this thread.

When i do calibration on step 7 of 8 i got this error:
This device does note appear tò be calibrating properly; ensure that AOS Is up tò date on the Apex.

What I wrong?

Regards
Tony

I have the same thing, are you doing the auto or manual calibration. I've had better luck with manual calibration.

Also what are you using to calibrate the probe?
I'm using task calibration, following step by step.
I'm using Neptune calibration liquid

I want to monitor tds (rodi) with a pm2, I know the pm2 could be configured to do it but do you think a hydros or other tds sensor solder with a din connector (like shown on page 4) would work?

I do not think you can do this - i.e. a salinity of 0 measured through the PM2, may not reflect a TDS of 0. But it is an interesting thought. Why do you want a constant measurement of your RODI TDS through PM2, when there are in-line TDS measuring devices already on many available units?

I want to be able to log it to predict resin exhaust rate and maybe throw an alarm. I red somewhere that there is a mode to use the salinity probe as a tds probe… but 300$ for a lab grade salinity just to read tds is not logical at all to me

Maybe I'm being unclear. You can take a daily or every other day TDS measurements in real time. Anyway to answer what you were asking - I have not seen that a salinity probe could be used as a TDS probe (nor would one every check that - since the TDS of saltwater is so high). Additionally Salinity and TDS are not the same measurement.
