You might be getting another client once you’ve got it in final iteration- or is there such a thing in design- hehe

just got this printer:

roll my own marlin so as long as i can align it all up, it should be another CR-10.
if it doesn't work as a printer its still a great deal for the parts!

the printer is awesome for the price. very functional out the box. I got another one because you cannot beat that price... I think they have it up in error because it has most everything you want for a gantry-style printer. for 310x310x400 build volume it cannot be beat. My CR-10 is 4 years old at least now and needs a full rebuild/tuneup. I don't even want to think about how many hours its been running.

*edit:*
the firmware on these SunLu S9s is great. I'm not changing a thing. will just print for as long as I can.

guess not an error:
its nice they offer their Marlin install right there on the site...

Question, I printed a petg piece today, it was a small shelf. The bottom curled up from the build plate. But the top was still square. I think it was 60x80mm and 10mm thick. Temps were 240/80, semi enclosed area, I have a sheet draped and enclosed as best as I can. I don't have any problems with smaller pieces.

so, the amount something moves depends on a bunch of things but long slender things have way more force prying them up because the shrinkage occurs most notably along the length of the part.
So, for the Noop shades I do, I have a whole crazy support structure I manually modeled & don't let anyone see because its impossible to print the long, narrow parts without warping / lifting.
