Hi guys. I’ve started cycling my tank 3 weeks ago. Have to drain the water dry now cos I found a leak on my tank. I got a temporary fiber tank to store my water and rock. Is it ok to leave the sand to dry for 1 week? Will the bacteria death cause any problem further down the road?

I would have transferred the sand to a separate tub to keep it going.

Don't know how deep your sand bed is but it looks like you placed your rock on the sand. Best not to do that because critters and fish can start digging underneath it and possibly shift the rocks later on. It's best to place the rocks directly on the glass. Or if it's very thin glass, put them on some egg crate.

Set it and forget it: Do you change your aquascape as your corals grow?
