How many pounds of sand would I need for a 300 gallon aquarium??

I’ve always done 1 pound per gallon. Seems to give it a nice balance

I have an engineer goby and two eels, so sand deep enough got them ideally.

Also thinking about doing fine sand. I think it looks better. Tank is going to be FOWLR so I dont have to worry about my goby throwing sand all over my corals
