Sea Cucumber

My sea cucumber stuck himself into my power head, it was off, and now he’s partially inflated. Not moving, and in a separate container than main tank. Is he dead?

Allow it to sit but if it does not deflate within 8 hours - isolate or remove as it may potentially ink which I doubt but will start to decay and offer a heck of a smell BUT these guys are tough. Give it a chance

If you see long strands of material coming out of it, that is viscera which can be toxic to other animals - remove it and look for signs of stress if that happens.

Here is a picture, I’d love to save him. He had room to get out of the other side. Should I completely remove him?
