Love the form factor and pattern of flow on the 6020. First one I had kept stopping randomly despite no debris or obstructions. I figure it was just a one off problem so exchange it for another one.

Second one has the same problem but this one also feels like propeller might be too big? I have to manually push the propeller up and down for it to work and if frequently catches on the walls… it only runs for a few hours or few minutes then stops itself again. Going crazy.

There are a few possibilities with the 6020:

1) The pump is very low wattage, essentially the motor does not have much torque, any sand or foreign object entering cannot be overcome, the pump will jam.

2) The rubber stops in the front cover must be present and fully inserted.

3) If it is neither of these, it could be a defective impeller, most often when this happens it is a 50Hz impeller that was installed in assembly by mistake, it is not common, but it does happen and if you get me the serial number and copy of the receipt we can get one mailed out.

Is there anything that appears wrong in the photo?

If it keeps failing again today, I'll send over the other info over PM.

Thanks

Everything looks ok that I can see, I cannot really tell if the stoppers are pushed in all the way, but if that checks out and it is clean inside the well with the drive unit out, everything else looks good.
