I planned for LPS-heavy and ended up with roughly an even mix of SPS/LPS/Soft/Nems.

I started out keeping mainly softies, then had some amazing reefing friends in Vegas were I was able to get some amazing deals on all kinds of LPS and SPS, so obviously had to try my hand at it. Sadly got out of the hobby due to a move, but starting back up again I now have another mixed reef...only 1 SPS as of right now though, but will be getting a couple monties, 1 more acro, and a birdsnest.

I have separate tanks for separate types of coral. I don't know how Reefers keep zoas and acros happy in the same tank, but it is much easier for me to separate them. LPS are my weak point, just average on the others.

This is directly under an xr15 12 hrs per day 6 hrs ab+ at 100%. The acro are were brown when I got them, but now coloring up nicely. Par was 200, with the parwise meter, on the west side tort at the very top. If you look closer at The top acro, there are zoa's coming up to the base of the frag plug. zoa's are doing great. I've had them for more than a year now.

I wanted to start with a mushroom and zoa garden. I also added a couple of lps but they didn't end up looking so pretty or as big as in the pics. lol. I never could keep acros, but in the past three months, they are all doing great. My frogspawn, and, torches are doing great, and the look of nice big flowing euphyllia is what is winning.

I used to chase everything. Loved sps the most but now I'm more into Chalices & Goni's. Tank is on cruise control
