If you open my equipment cabinet, you see this.....not bad:

What you don't see is the spaghetti of wires just below the shelf in this cabinet:

So it's still a mess behind the scenes. :)

Designing a stand for a deep blue rr 75 rimless now. I really hope I have room in the stand for a separate area away from sump for my apex but space is going to be tight. Do I oversize sump or get a sump that's just big enough to have room for the area?

Theres some really nice front views of ppls panels. Can someone show me how they mount all their power supply bricks/adapters. Im tempted to throw them in a box with a hole for cords, but theres gonna be alot of them with 2xAP700s, 2xgyre x250, etc.. And I know heat will be a factor.

Checking out this thread as I've got a new tank to set up and want it to be neat, tiny and even nice to look at.

Just getting ready to set up my electrical panel and I have decided to make a small shelf like you see in attachment 1 under my cabinet so, I can install my new ProfiLux4 Controller, GHL Maxi dosing pump for my Automatic water changes thats connected to my saltwater mixing station. Then I need to just grab a new blk GHL 2.1 Sa Doser for my Alk, Cal and Mag and a Trace and I will be good to go.. Please note, attachment # 1 is a idea I found on the internet, so it not my work. I am just going to use this persons idea instead of a cube i WAS going to work with as you can see in the pixs.

Happy St. Patrick's Day, time for me to fo drink some green adult beverages....

Nice! I don't have my shelf in yet. Hubby will add it, and another outlet strip when I get the doser. Here is the electrical side of the stand.

This is a temporary electrical box since I am in an apartment! I never got my landlords approval bc he was asking too many questions about the manufacture blah. I never got an answer so added the tank.. They came in for building inspection and never said anything but "wow so relaxing" :)

sheesh, everyone's looks so good and I'm over here like..

Sadly I would see this regularly when I was out and about while TDY in the Philippians. It would be so bad at night I noticed electrical arcs and some even radiate a blue glow.

This DJ switch rack has made working on my tank so much nicer. Whether it's shutting off the skimmer while feeding Coral Fenzy or the return pump and ATO during a water change, it's so much nicer than unplugging things. The door shelves were a nice addition also.

On my "do to" list - door shelving for essential items... I've never seen those basket where they designed for this application?
