Thankfully, I quarantined a coral I purchased recently from LFS and after a couple of weeks, I examined it today and see a single small head of Aiptasia at the edge of the coral (Blastomussa).

This is my first experience with this pest, and I'm wondering what are the steps I need to be aware of to remove it, and to be absolutely certain that it won't return back on this coral.

If I remove the coral, which is on a frag plug still on a rack, can I just put a glob of Super Glue on its head?

Thanks all,

Kalkwasser in a thick mixture in a syringe. Lay it on and let it sit. Should kill it.

I have caked two with super glue in QT and they both did not emerge again. Keep an eye on it to be safe.
