Just wondering. I'm sure his demise is near. His belly looks a little sunken in but he hasn't eaten for almost 4 days now.

I thought he would have been dead 1st day after I spotted him not eating but now we are into day 4. I guess it's some disease. Just wish the poor fellow didn't have to suffer if he's not going to get better.

He stays mostly in the back corner of tank. It's a 120 gal.

Any ideas what could be troubling the little fellow?

Thanks

Add any new fish lately? Are you seeing any stringy white poop coming out of any of your fish? A sunken belly could be a symptom of intestinal parasites. Soaking the fish's food in metronidazole usually fixes the problem (and is also reef safe).

I did add a flame hawk. About 10 days ago. All my other fish are all over 7 years old

Happened with mine after a year. He wouldn't eat and slowly withered away and died. Everything parameter wise was fine
