Hi I received this Purple Tang with a Snowflake Eel, Two Peppermint shrimp, and 20kg of aquarium salt. Only to find it looking sickly and skinny, I don't currently have a qt but have a spare tank I could use, it's been in my community tank for three days now, should I qt it? Or blindly treat for internal parasites, it is currently the largest, or should I say longest, fish in the tank, and my Sailfin Tang (Finn) is only a tad shorter but much thicker I've had him for two years since he was an inch long. I'm so scared of making the community sick, I just hope it puts on some weight fast, any tips? I currently feed them Hikari Marine both normal and Herbavore, also flakes, and I'm going to start trying nori or cos lettuce, and frozen mysis or something similar (Finn) never was a fan of nori.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
