Thanks man.And some random shots
Thanks bud! I hope so. I came up short on salt on my last water change. I'll be doing it tomorrow once I get more salt in. Then I plan to wait 2 weeks and send off another ICP to see if the moly and nickel are staying in range.awesome pics and pieces man, looking like the pop off
Wow that first one is really prettySome no namer pieces from my LFS, Tongs, looking good.
The frag left from my colony I grew out for years and almost lost. It's finally starting to resemble itself again
I really like this one. Coloring up just a few inches off the bottom I plan to keep it low and see if it gets a cool color gradient as it grows and reaches high light
Cool little tips and polyp highlights. Really, you only notice them under a close eye or macro shot.
This little boog of a spath is taking its sweet time to grow but the color it's developing looks like it's going to be worth the wait
It is awesome but boy can it take some time! I feel like I'm over a year since I ticked off this tank and it's just starting to come back around.Gorgeous.
Amazing how corals can decline and come back so beautifully.
I made the swap over to hydros wave engine vs with 3) xf350 gyres. Overall I feel like I’ve seen a noticeable improvement in polyp extension. Less direct but still very turbulent just about everywhere.
scop still ticked of but looks like it may recover.
Yes I did. So basically the pump only xf350s were at a great price point so I ordered the wave engine to control them. They are "direct drive" but you do still need an $10 cable per gyre to operate it off the hydros. Not having a bunch of power supplies is nice though. Control and preloaded schedules are WAY better than dealing with the gen3 controller. I had one in the past. I plan to order a tunze cord and see how it does controlling one of my 6105 pumps in the future .When you switched over to Hydros wave engine did you use the gyre pumps with it? What wave pump did you use with the Hydros? I've been contemplating changing from Apex system to Hydros.
Thanks man!Awesome tank!
