WOW!! Extreme takeover. I love xenia's, and had some at one point in time but our emerald crab kept killing them. They're slowly growing back but I now know to keep them in check!
i had the same prob. listened to my girlfriend & a month later i put the entire rock in my sup tank. i bought a piece w/ 2 pieces and with 4 weeks it had completely taken over like 5.5 lb rock...she got mad but i told her i do the maintance and pay for the tank so i got the final say so. A fish tank is one thing you have to draw the line on w/ them
Going to try to comment on the previous posts during the course of today, but for now a couple short videos I shot last night. Didn't use the HD Flip (( not 100% sure where the girlfriend left it )), so it was just my phone -- didn't edit it, nor add any music.
For "Mr. D" you can see the blenny being used as a cave at the :20 mark.
This is the first time that I have thought a xenia take over looks amazing! I really enjoy the look of your huge xenia garden, with the few additional corals!
Awesome!!!! I love it let it grow looks amazing with the pulsing if I ever wanna take a step back from sps crazy care I'd def do the same throw some blue anthella in there !!!
