I have been searching online and cannot seem to find what these sponge/tubeworm looking things are growing in my filtration/sump area on my nano. It is growing on the glass and heater

Any ideas?

Thanks

Yeah they like low light low flow areas. These sorts of sponges are also more sensitive than the typical pineapple sponges so a good sign of healthy water parameters
Good to hear.
My tank has been showing signs of maturity recently, such as coralline algae and now the sponges

We'd all love to see more of it! You should consider putting together a build thread sometime! Great place to shop ideas and follow along your progress!

Good trouble: Have mushrooms ever become pests in your aquarium?
