Definitely noticed a difference in my sps between 7.9 and 8.3. Growth and color was better at higher PH.

is it real, fake, a myth? I know what my thoughts are on it and there’s a reason I stay in that 8.3-8.5 range, what do you practice for your reef?

I’m one of the laziest reefers and never test my water. At most, I test salinity about once a week. The rest of the parameters I haven’t tested in months. I do two 5 gal water changes a week on my 35 gal system though so everything should be pretty darn stable. As for PH, I pump as much oxygen into the water as I can at all times to keep it closer to that 8.5 goal. I let the Red Sea Salt do the rest of the work
