Some of the last pics are from the old lighting, as I'm sure you can tell.

Kenny,

Send me a PM and we can discuss :) .

You have some very beautiful pics there!!! I was wondering if you able to frag any of the following for possible trade...the garf Purple Bonsai or the blue mili?

Thanks,
Steve

Hey Stix. It may be awhile on the garf PurpleBonsai, but I can definitely work out something on the blue mille. I have three other smaller pieces of the same coral I was going to frag out for our January swap in Nashville.

Dost mine eyes deceiveth me? A danae with bright yellow polyps? Super nice. I know they can be slow growers, but let me know if/when you can frag it. I'd love a piece of that one.

It's being called pokestar or something like that. I've got some cooking.:)
Take a look at the polyps on the left edge. They are starting to turn brith orange. I have no idea what that is all about.

Pokerstar monit. Blue base with neon green polyps that can go orange like on a Rainbow monti. There are a few different ones that have been showing up.

I have not seen a Pokerstar with yellow polyps though. The lighting will determine the coloration of the coral. I have seen 2 pieces of the same coral in one tank. The one higher up looked like a Rainbow Monti and the one lower down kept its blue base w/bright green polyps.

The weird thing about the one I have is that the verrucae flatten out as the frags grew out and encrusted. It still had the blue base w/bright green polyps but the surface is smooth.

See the encusted part of the plug there. Well I cut off the major top part of this peice and there was the encrusting part left on it. That encrusted part has since covered over and now is blue base with bright orange polyps. No blue.
