I've seen 2 fish stores in the Houston area selling squaretails as kole yellow eye tangs. They both have yellow eyes for sure but there's a pretty big difference in the markings. Not to mention kole yellow eye is from Hawaii.
Anyone else seeing this? 1 store had them priced $100, about in line with his other more common tangs but the other wanted 300. I should point out that he does full prophylactic treatment. Still too high for an indo fish and I wonder if suppliers are selling them as kole yello eye. I could see a scenario where someone spends $300 on this fish thinking they found a unicorn, careful out there!

Did you point it out to the owner? I have seen some fish mis-identified occasionally at stores.
