Can't figure this thing out to save the life of me, runs fine during the day and at night looses its mind! 2 nights in a row it has flooded my stand and floor, and I unplug it and plug it back in after cleaning up gallons of water and it works fine till the next night. Not dosing anything, need help

I've seen this happen before I just don't remember were. There's only 2 reasons it should go nuts 1 is if there's a water level change maybe some how the skimmer chamber is getting to much water but seems weird since you would think it wouldn't happen just at night. The other one would be something getting in the tank Like a chemical. Possible a huge spawning event going on at night
