I remember reading a post from @cloak this morning about leaving RC and I was very sure the title is something like "I had to Leave RC too", but his post was not on the Lounge forum which I think it should have been. Anyway, it was not on the front page when I looked, so I had to search for it to read it (I didn't remember his R2R ID then). I did a search on R2R and I found nothing even though the search string is like 100% identical to his post's subject. I opened the browser (google chrome) and typed the exact same string "I had to Leave RC too" and boom the first link came back was the thread he posted on R2R. :)

I clicked on that link which is directed me to R2R and performed the exact search again inside R2R and LOL nothing I was looking for came back AGAIN.

So what search engine are we using on R2R? Microsoft My SQL?

I use FireFox.

If you feel strongly a thread is not appropriate in it's current forum, just report it and the moderation team will review it. When able we try not to move threads if it's not blaringly obvious that the thread belongs elsewhere.

:)

Bing
If you’re a digital marketer using advanced search operators, then use Bing for these queries.

LinkFromDomain: There are any number of tools that can give you inbound link data. There’s only one place to go for outbound link information – Bing.

Feed: Finds RSS or Atom feeds pertaining to the term you specify.

Contains: Returns search results that have links to the file types that you specify.

Near: Useful for spotting patterns. For example, [food near:10 bar] specifies the distance between terms so that documents that contain instances of the specified terms within X words of each other (in the example 10) are returned first in search results.

Blekko
If you hate spam and love slashtags, then use Blekko.

So what search engine are we using on R2R? Microsoft My SQL?

XenForo Enhanced Search is an add-on that replaces the built-in XenForo search system and is built on top of elasticsearch to provide a higher performing and more flexible search system for XenForo.

You needed to put it in quotations. Search again for "I had to Leave RC too", but include the "".

Microsoft mysql is not a search engine is it a database managment system used mainly for user information you can search with it if you are the owner/malicious user but it is not like Google at all although Google uses mysql it is used to add/update/remove information stored in a database inside of a website for instance like r2r stores your username and password if by chance you had access to the database you would use the command

SELECT ALL username from dbusernames;
That would return all the usernames saved in the database named dbusernames

It get way more complicated and can do much more but I feel this is more information than needed already lol

All of your words except one, were NOT included in your search, as they were all omitted from not having enough letters in them. Your results were based on the one searchable word you entered.... leave.
