I'm looking to set up a 60 gallon and was looking for stocking ideas. At the moment I have a general idea of what I want but I was wondering if you all would make any changes.

-dwarf fuzzy lionfish
-snowflake eel
-1-2 tomini tang(maybe another species)

anything else I should add?

(does it matter when I introduce them?)
(would I be able to have coral?)

Thank you in advance.

That’s definitely enough maybe just get 1 tomini tang.

Make sure you have a tight fitting lid for that snowflake eel. I think this stocking would work but wouldn't add anything else. For CUC focus on bigger snails and urchins that won't be lunch. Should be able to have coral, but just know adult snowflakes are very strong and can knock around frags/rocks. Also the tang might be a bit annoying while you hand feed the eel and the lionfish

That’s gonna be a dirty tank so I would stock anything additional based on what your filtration and export looks like. It’s doable for sure if you have some saltwater experience under your belt.

Ive got a dwarf fuzzy and a snowflake in my tank! Love them. Great fish. I think you would do fine as long as you have good rock work for a tang to swim around in, perching places for the fuzzy and sturdy rocks with dark caves for the eel!

Thank you. I love my current urchin so I'll definitely have one in the 60.

What are the dimensions of the tank? Some 60 gallons tanks are 2x2x2 cubes, so not suitable for any of those 3 fishes.

Cool dimensions. Those 3 will be fine, and I agree that coral will be mostly safe. Maybe add a dwarf angel, or percher (sized appropriately) like a pink spot watchman or a flame hawk.

which dwarf angel would you suggest? (has to be reef-safe or at least relatively)
