Hello everyone! I'm a recent member and longtime lurker. I picked up a 135 gallon tank the other day, and I'm wondering if anyone can advise me on how many gph my sump pump with two returns should be, and any recommended types or brands? I would like an adjustable one to fine tune my flow. Any advice would be appreciated.

Is it a drilled tank or HOB overflow? What's the overflow rated for? On a HOB, too little flow will cause air to accumulate in the U-Tubes and you'll lose prime, too much flow and you'll have to divert some of the flow from the return pump back into the sump.

Also also, what flow is the sump rated for?

Hey welcome to r2r.
Ive had good luck with this guys little brother. Your actual return flow should be about 5x water volume.
Quiet and adjustable. When $$$ permit, get a spare.
