Absolutely gorgeous! Fantastic build! I hope to one day have the knowledge and understanding that you have and be able to build something even half as nice.

Thanks! It takes time and patience and lots of research. You'll get there.

Tank looks great! Love all the pics. Those clementine zoas might be my favorite. How well do they grow for you?

They actually grow pretty fast. Thanks for the compliments.

Man your tank looks awesome! I am getting the same tank and already have radions. How do you like the center overflow design? Does it drain fast enough? What is your water change/dosing schedule if you dont mind?

Awesome line up of fish and corals. In another year those SPS are going to be so full of character.

Were you able to get your fish screen to cover all of the tank? Are there any openings across the back for any reason? Just asking because i was too lazy to get creative with my end pieces and the over the top returns left a small space on mine for the fish to jump out. IMO everyone should have the BRS screen on their tanks.

Tank is looking great! Hope mine will look half that good one day.

I am consider purchasing the same tank and was hoping that you could give me some insight as to the overflow. I see your pump is rated for approx. 1800 GPH. Do you have any issues running that amount of flow through the overflow? Planet aquarium is telling me they it is only rated for 1500-1600 GPH. Are you using any kind of set up to muffle the sound such as a Herbie system? And finally, Planet Aquarium is telling me that there are 2-1.75" Drain Holes and 2-1.5" Return holes. Is that consistent with your set up?

Thanks so much for your input!

Actually my overflow is drilled for 2-1" drains both with 1" Maggie mufflers and one 3/4" return. I use a Fluval s4 return pump with a ball valve to dial in the return to match the drain.

I finally finished stocking the tank with fish. Here is the finalized list:

1- Blue Star Leopard Wrasse female
1- Filamented Flasher x Yellow-fin Flasher Wrasse male
1- Golden Rhomboid Fairy Wrasse male

1- Bellus Angel female
1- Black Cap Basslet (sex unknown)
1- Ruby Red Scooter Blenny female
1- Fathead Sunburst Anthias male

I still have the bloodshrimp I've had since my first biocube, a skunk cleaner shrimp, 2 peppermint shrimp, and a harlequin shrimp.

I know, I know.. blah, blah, blah.. Pictures!

Splendid Pintail Fairy Wrasse male- This fish has to be one of the hardest fish to photograph, period. He's ridiculously fast and doesn't seem to interested in the camera.

The fast progress of this tank is phenomenal! Great work, and a beautiful display as a result. Love the SPS colours. Any chance of TOP DOWN shots of the SPS? -Thats where the REAL eye candy is at. :D

Hey, you've had my top-down box for almost 2 months now and haven't used it yet! You got a couple more days left before I take it back. :p

Lalani, I remember you from nano-reef...I dont visit there much if at all these days...that place has changed too much for me... :D

I request he be allowed to keep the top down viewer for another week; on the condition that he must post at least 15 TOP DOWN SHOTS.

What do you think? :D
