This started growing in my tank. What is it?

Can anyone tell me what this is? It started growing on a base live rock for a cave, so it does not have much light. It doesn’t move or retract when you touch it.

Looks like the housing of a vermetid snail
Normally suggested is to break off at the base and discard but this guys lions well adhered
suggested is to place a dab of gel superglue from the dollar store over the opening of tube and it will starved

Agreed it is a vermetid snail. Looks like you have a tiny one in the foreground of that pic as well.
