Today my tank showed me why I love this so much

So I’ve had really difficult “want to quit” moments the last few weeks. I am battling hitchhiker crabs that are taking chunks off my SPS, my fish have ich (I seem to be winning the battle and haven’t had any deaths and seeing fewer and fewer spots, it’s been 2.5 weeks), started to dose polyp labs medic and my acans hated it, lost one of my favorite frags but all the others have started to get used to it and pull through, and this is just an expensive hobby, no question about that.

That said, I shut down my flow to clean the glass this morning and clean my gyres and the gyres are covered in coralline which was awesome to see because I must be doing something right with water parameters if that’s the case. I also got these pictures from the top which made me extremely happy.
