Hell Fire Torch...

Has been doing fine, but recently, like last 3 days, it was not fully opening, but still opened decently.

I am not sure what is happening here? The polyps look as if they are bailing out and are about to just fall off.

Nothing is bothering it.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have multiple Hammers and Torches, all of which are doing just find

See pics below..

Looks like polyp bailout unfortunately. How long has it been in your tank? Do you know if it’s an aqua cultured or wild caught piece?
It was bailout....

It was an Aquaculture...but it was a recent frag from a 3 head colony. Probably too soon to cut from the mother colony. It came from a very respected LFS, but they were hesitant to frag it too soon...we waited 2 weeks, they fragged it, and let it quarantine for 1 week.

I think it was fragged too soon. It was only 3 weeks old in my tank, started off looking and doing great, then, last few days, retracted...then today Bailout...now it's a goner!

Flow was not crazy...In fact it was in a lower flow spot. Rainbow Torch next to it is loving life, and even other basic green tip Torch that I've had for a while, that closed up for a few months, once I moved to same Rock started doing good again.

I've never experienced Bailout ever...and I've lost my fair share of corals and fish, since starting as a newbie 2 years ago.

I've read a lot about Bailout, but never seen it in person.

It was nice while it lasted.
