Hey guys! Tank is 4 months old.
Have a couple clowns and a baby bamboo shark
180g
Having my first problems with the sand and algae. Wondering what this is? Photo with the white light to see if better then with the blue.
Parameters are
Salinity 34ppm
Calcium 500
Mag 1500
Phos 0.2
nitrates 16
Alk 8.9dkh
ammonia 0

I have 2 Red Sea 90lights running from 8am to 6pm pretty much full blast blue+white. Then from 6-9pm lunar cycle. Would bringing the lights down help and anything else I should be doing? Thank you.

Might be cyanobacteria on sand. Back wall coverage looks like generic microalgae.

new tank uglies......you can turn your lighting schedule down for a week if you want....
or just leave it alone and it should go away (to another form....LOL).
Maybe cut down on feeding.....your phos and nirate dont look that bad.....
