Mine grows like a cap.. Green inside with deep purple edges with white polyps...

i believe it is encrusting but can also develop branches and plate; ime growth form is highly flow dependant

My Tyree undata encrusted until it ran out of realestate then it began to plate.

thats the one i have. the frag i got looks like it may have been plating, as 3/4 of was curved and obviously was not encrusted onto anything.

so far IME its only been encrusting. so IMO flow and time would be a determining factor.

i'm gonna sell a piece in my frag pack coming up here shortly.
