Tunze makes quality equipment and they stand behind it. The other guy who bought the unboxed one from me says he was blown away with performance vs his existing MP60s.

This powerhead is really strong with very wide & powerful flow pattern.

I've been using 6095s on smaller setups and have not been disappointed at all. This here monster will not work with fine sand, unless you want your water to look like milk shake.

Yeah I have a 72x30x28 made by Reef Savvy that will be acro dominated. So special grade sand from Carib sea might not be a good fit?

I'm finishing an 82x32x25 with fine oolitic sand - I love the look but flow is a challenge.

Special grade might be fine, it is way coarser than the powder in my tank.
