Although from the same species, my two Fire Shrimp (the twins) and my Cleaner Shrimp find it more natural to live at opposite ends of my 72” long reef. They have some differences and similarities. Cleaner Shrimp are just that. Very efficient cleaners. Fire Shrimp, no as much. Both keep the fish parasite free. The twins come out when I feed the tank as does the Cleaner. I remember at one point while just having only Cleaner Shrimp, I learned that Fire Shrimp were in fact Cleaner Shrimp. Nuff said. The three shrimp seem to get along just fine in the same tank.

1. Any “multi-shrimp” shrimp owners?
2. Would you ever give it a try?

I have many times had all of multiple different fire, pistol, sexy, skunk, never had a problem out of any.
Correction, I do have a pistol shrimp. And yes, shrimp are less a problem than fish or corals.
