The second one is the much coveted (by me;)) ORA bluetip bottlebrush (tenius, I think). Something about the top one makes me think granulosa, but only a little something.

unfortunatley i lost both those pieces, the first just rtn'd on my one day, and the frags i had cut months before soon followed.

i think it was a granulosa.

the second was lost to a salinity issue in the 180. salinity got to .19 and i lost about 5 pieces. that was a few months ago, when i wasnt; paying as much attention as i should have been.
it was a tenuis from walt smith via atlantis. i did cut a frag and gave it out to jmboehling cousin, so it may still be around. atlantis got in about ten of the maricultured colonies about a year ago?

Nice shot, twon.

I really thought that second one was the ORA bluetip bottlebrush. Its very similar to the ORA, isn't it?

it is a tenuis, but it has a green base, where the ora bluetip didnt' ime.

it also grew much faster than the ora blue bottlebrush

if you are talking about the one directly underneath it and to the right, that is the "gomezi" we got in hopewell, dark blue with light blue tips and green corallites

i actually have a lot fewer monti's in there than i used to, they have grown like mad, i've likely got about 30 frags laying in the sand.
