Not at all complaining but my coralline algae is “RED” just red. No pink or purple. It’s actually quite nice. Spreads just as quickly as the purple. The majority of my rock is Caribsea Life Rock: pedestals, caves, small arches and 2-24” arches. The red coralline has no problem attaching itself to this rock.
Just wondering if Red Coralline is just as rare as (coincidentally) “redheads” in our world?

Take the poll:
1. Red Coralline Algae?
2. Purple Coralline Algae?
3. Pink Coralline Algae?
4. A Mix?

No green? Hot Pink?

And I'm not talking about OG Ultra Holy Grail Mr. Magoo colors, but real ones..

Too lazy to dig out pictures. Maybe others have these two?

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
