Hello! I recently came back to school from my thanksgiving break and noticed these white stringy growths appearing on my live rock, filter, and thermometer and have no idea what they are. My biggest concern is if they are harmful to my clownfish and crabs, or if they are just another nuisance algae. I set the tank up in August and it is still well into the ugly phase, but just wanted to make sure it isn’t anything bad. Thank you!

I would also like to add that none of the growths appear green. My first thought was hair algae but idk if thats it…
